Rock fort is the symbol of Temple city Tiruchirapplli. Trichirappalli is the cradle of Education situated at the centre in Tamil Nadu. In this cradle one Education institution child was born in the name of “The British English Medium Matriculation School in the year 1995. The Education institution child was named by the founder of the School Mr.P.Sambasivam pillai with the following reasons.

When the British rulers left our India we have inherited two assets from them. They are (1) the Unity and (2) the language English. Even though they left Our country their investments and efforts taken in improving our country in science, technology and education are indispensable. To remember all these things done by the British rulers the school was named as “The British Matriculation School”. Unfortunately our Tamil Nadu Government has also given the opening order Permission following the Recognition order in the name of “The British English Medium Matriculation School” in the year 1998.
